This year’s annual fall concert, Fallapalooza featured the student openers Indigo Hills, Radix, and Tiffany Day with D.J. Delanada spinning offstage, and of course our headliner, Aminé.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING (12.03.2021)

The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting featured a performance from our very own LMU choirs, a blessing of the Christmas tree, holiday crafts, mugs of hot cocoa, and a special visit from The Grinch!

Our fifth annual LMU Day was located at the beautiful Page Stadium. It involved free food, special LMU Day merchandise, music, and a celebration of our baseball team in preparation for their game against Creighton.

prom (04.23.2022)

The first ever ASLMU Prom was held to give our underclassmen the opportunity to experience a prom, which they missed out on due to the pandemic. It featured all the quintessential prom festivities and more: a DJ, dance floor, food trucks, a 360 spinning photo-booth, and a fantastic aerial hoop performer!

This year’s annual fall concert, Fallapalooza featured the best lineup yet including student openers Yoyo Nosa and Curbside, DJ Lezlee, DŸLN, and our incredible headliner T-Pain. In addition, the event features a variety of food trucks, booths for student artists and business, multiple photo walls, a glitter station courtesy of HBO, and free samples from Coke, Pressed Juicery, and Power Crunch. This event brought over 5,000 LMU students together and started the 2019-2020 school year off on the right note.

Christmas tree lighting (12.6.19)

The Christmas season kicked off with an annual ritual much beloved by Loyola Marymount University (LMU) students and the neighboring community: the lighting of the Christmas tree on Regents Terrace on Friday, December 6th. 

Spearheaded by the ASLMU Programming Team, this year’s celebration with include:

·         A festive Christmas ambiance 

·         ASLMU Christmas mug giveaway

·         Cocoa and cookies provided by LMU Hospitality by Sodexo

·         Popular LA food trucks

·         Crafts and cookie decorating stations

·         Pictures with Santa

·         Trackless Christmas train ride for all ages

·         Variety of themed Christmas photo opportunities

lmu day (2.1.20)

LMU Day is the fourth and most recent signature event in which ASLMU has created for all students at Loyola Marymount University to enjoy. LMU Day will incorporate a day of festivities, such as student performers, lawn games, and food trucks, in preparation for the men’s basketball game on February 1st 2019 prior to the basketball game against Pepperdine.

This year’s After Sunset, ASLMU’s spring concert, featured an incredible lineup of performers and entertainment. Jack Green, the winner of Mane Entertainment’s Best DJ competition joined fellow student DJs Mazik and Saint Disco in starting off the event. Brownies and Lemonade brought the down the house with a surprise performer Y2K before our headliner TroyBoi finished out the show with a memorable set. In addition, the event features multiple food trucks, free refreshments from Coke, and an HBO polaroid station.

Hosted by ASLMU in Sunken Gardens, this year’s Fallapalooza saw Twankaalu, REAL 92.3’s DJ Lezlee, and London On Da Track take the stage before our headliner, Jeremih!

Loyola Marymount University prides itself in being welcoming of all, and of supporting our students at the margins. We must come together and support DREAMers on and off-campus. On this day, students came together to stand in solidarity with those affected by the removal of DACA.

LMU's largest concert, hosted by ASLMU, began at 4:00pm on Sunken Gardens. Majid Jordan of OVO opened for our headliner, the Neighbourhood!

Silent Disco (10.6.2017)

Let's Boogie Down, Quietly. 

ASLMU hosted its first annual Silent Disco! There was a live DJ, free food from food trucks, a make your own trail mix bar, giveaways, friends, and so much more! This was a loud (yet silent) immersive experience with a new way to engage with music! We had a wonderful time!
